Never send money, gift cards, crypto or bank details to someone you met here — no matter how good the story is. Nobody who genuinely wants to meet you needs your money first.

Be wary of anyone who pushes an investment, a crisis, or a fee to unlock something.

It is fine to swap numbers when you want to. Be more careful when someone insists, early and urgently, on moving to an untraceable app — that pattern is common in scams, and reports work best while the conversation still lives here.

Meet somewhere public. Arrange your own way there and back. Tell a friend where you are going and when you expect to be home. Leave whenever you want, without explaining.

We do not run automated scam detection today, and we will not pretend we do. Blocking, unmatching and reporting are the tools that work, and they are in the app on every introduction and conversation.
